Author is a Czech brand of bicycles, bike accessories and sporting goods. The brand was founded in 1993. Author manufactures bicycles and frames in the following categories road bikes, mountain bikes (cross-country, enduro, full suspension), cross-country bicycles, touring, freestyle (MTB, BMX), junior and women's (mountain bikes, cross-country). Author also manufactures e-bikes. At the beginning, 9 models of bicycles from the Equipe line were created. From year to year, the brand has become more and more popular. The sale of bicycles was counted in the tens of thousands of units. The collection of bicycles has been expanded to 23 models, and additionally, there are also accessories signed with its logo. The multitude of new cycling disciplines also means the Author is not lagging behind. New models are gradually appearing for enthusiasts of road riding, traversing demanding mountain trails or those who are looking for adrenaline in gravity disciplines. The ASL (Author Sport Lady) line was created for women. From the beginning of the new century, new changes have appeared in the Author's collection: - bikes with full suspension (FSX) and 29-inch (29er) wheels, and the increasing use of carbon fiber. Author - is a brand created with passion.
