The SCFT system stretches the spoke while maintaining a linear structure, thus increasing the strength of the spokes at the center by at least 48%. Strong spokes have been developed for intensive use such as e-bikes, tandems, or heavy loads. They are made of 18/8 stainless steel with high tensile strength, resistant to fatigue. Strong spokes are recommended for large hub bores.
