A Balcony with a View of Katowice. And of Life.

I recently had a dream.
I was standing in the backyard of an old tenement building, the kind my grandfather used to live in. A familiar place, slightly neglected, but full of soul. And in that dream, I saw an apartment. Seemingly ordinary. But the window revealed something surprising: a view of Katowice. Or rather Chicago – the city where I once lived. Tall skyscrapers, modernity, the world.

Then a room with a tall bookshelf, another window – and there were the waves of the sea. As if life was saying:
“Look, you can have peace. And still stay connected to the world.”

It wasn’t just a dream. It was a map of how I live and where I’m going next.
Because that’s how my life looks now:

– Raciborz gives me peace, grounding, space to think,
– Bikes are my bridge to the world – they lead me to people, to adventures, to new perspectives,
– The online store is my window, open to customers in Germany, Italy, Spain, the USA,
– And cycling trips are like that balcony – far from the noise, yet with a beautiful view of what matters.

You don’t always need to live in the city center to be close to what’s important.
You don’t always need to have everything “right now.” Sometimes the opportunity shows up when you’re truly ready.

Maybe that’s the point:
to live in alignment with yourself and still have a view.
Of the future. Of the sea. Of the road.
